BIOGRAPHY OF OUR NAMED SAINTS

Archangel Michael is the Commander of the Heavenly powers and our Church was named after thee. He is the intercessor for mankind before God.

Saint Tekla Hymanout the Ethiopian Priest is the other Saint that our Church was named after, he was a chosen vessel since birth and grow up loving and living a life of a saint.

 ABOUT US

Our Church was established in  Brampton, Ontario in year 1992 by Fr. Angelos Saad.

Many Clergies served our congregation since its establishment.

In 2000, Fr. Morcos Hanna was named the Priest of our Church and since the Church witnessed an uplift and gracefulll growth in all of its spiritual activities, ministry and parishioners membership.

To plan for more services and more suitable place of worship to accommodate such growth, the church is currently undergoing a construction project to build a larger church of approx. 800 seats and spiritual and social facilities.

The chart below represents the parishioners growth projections in the next 10 years and is specifically demonstrating expectation of exponential growth after completion of Phase 1 construction project of the new church, which is expected to be ready around Q4/2010 or Q1/2011:

ORGANIZATIONAL STRUCTURE

Our Church is a Not-for-Profit Charitable Organization incorporated in Ontario, Canada. The By-laws that govern its operations and all other Coptic Church abroad for that regard was originated by the Holy Synod of the Coptic Orthodox Patriarchate of Alexandria. H.H. Pope Shenouda III resides as the out most authority of all the Coptic Churches of the See of St. Mark all over the world.

As a Canadian organization, the Clergy is the Chairman and the Prisident of the Corporation, assisting the Clergy is a Board of Directors - in fact are called the "Board of Deacons" - and they are six (6) elected members of the Church. Accordingly the current rganizational structure is as follows:
